Pietro Ruscigno

ABOUT ME

Italian classical guitarist, Pietro Ruscigno was born in 2002 and began studying classical guitar at the age of 11. His interest for other subject areas such as philosophy, literature, opera and movies constitutes a significant part in his artistic and musical choices. Moreover, his passion for folk songs from Mediterrean Europe and for greatest exponents of both classical and romantic music in Europe, allows to delineate a repertoire that goes from Bach to Rodrigo by way of Giuliani, Tárrega, Llobet and Barrios. He won several first prizes in international competitions and he was a student in various masterclasses. He currently lives in Los Angeles, where he pursues a Master of Music in Classical Guitar Performance at USC Thornton.
